Fabrina Bina inspired me for this one...

THINGS TO DO ON BREAK:

Go to a bar with Brian

Read the rest of Speaking My Mind and The Road Less Traveled

Go see the scenes of the nativity at the church off of South Street

Get gym memberships and workout every morning with Brian

Get together with Kate, Sabrina and Laura in Skaneatles for dinner

Go shopping at Carasaul

Makes pies

Spend time with Tricia

Clean room and get it situated

Go to mom's class and help out

Email Greg to talk about marrying Brian and I

Check out The Barn and The Lake Watch Inn for reception sites

Visit NY Bride and show Kelly and Clare some wedding dresses I picked out

Spend time with Kelly and Clare

Do something with Jake and Katrina

I'd better stop or else I'll get overwhelmed and then upset with myself if I don't accomplish all my goals!  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Years.  Especially beautiful Rachel who I hope had a wonderful birthday you big 22 year old.  I miss you.

SO my Thanksgiving break was crazy! I never got any sleep! My birthday night was fun. We went to the Boatyard Grill for dinner (my mom, dad, sister and Brian). My dad ordered a bottle of wine and proposed a toast for me. It was beautiful. Then my friends Kelly and Clare had a little get together with some friends from home. Clare made me this beautiful cake with three tiers colored purple, pink and white. It was modeled after Jessica Simpson's cake! Kelly and her parents got me a six pack of smirnoff ice and I had one bottle before I left home. Then Saturday night I went to Brian's dad's for dinner and then I had my first bar experience. Him, Ben and Craig his (brother and cousin) went with us to the Winfield. I just had a bottle of smirnoff and we sat at this booth and talked for a couple hours. It was fun hanging out with them. I really enjoy Brian's family. And I think they enjoy me too. I can't wait until the wedding when the families are conjoined together. It will be crazy and fun at the same time. David was talking at dinner time about how it was going to be the first time Scipio (my church) meets Rochester. It will be interesting, but I'm hoping that all will be mature and act respectable. Behind each other's backs and infront of one another. I really think it will be so nice having the Rochester crew there. They bring life to the party and they are part of my life and I love them! So it would only suit it if they were there. Well, besides shopping and eating tons of food that was the scoop on my break! I love being 21. I feel like I have so much power for some reason!!!!!

It's election day!  I found this passage while reading this morning and thought it was a good one for the day:

Doing What is Good

1Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
3At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

I am excited for the results.  I was telling Brian over the weekend that I will be nervous if Bush wins, I will be nervous if Kerry wins.  And equally, I will be excited if Bush wins and excited if Kerry wins.........Oh and apply that to Nader too... hehe.  I just pray that as Christians we set an example of Christ's love when referring to and talking about the candidates and events  that will occur over the next week concerning this election.
